Someday, you are going to realize that all that money your regular job pays you may not really be enough. Not enough to pay for the medical expenses to treat your ailments or other medical conditions to resuscitate you week after week of grueling in your dead end job. Not enough to buy you the freedom to spend quality time with your family and no work-life balance. Not enough to achieve your dreams and feel really happy in life. Hopefully this day will come sooner. You really ought to know that at some point in your life you must, at any cost – Fire your boss! and begin to take charge of your own life. Yes, you have to!
Education. Regardless of your age, extra education and training are needed either for a career switch or self-improvement. A lot of people are taking college courses (even with teenagers) or upgrading to an MBA to climb the corporate ladder. Even if college education is out for you, you still have to plan for your children’s college degree, unless you intend to leave them to their own devices.
Acknowledge your fear(s) – Starting your own business is scary. These days, almost everyone needs some kind of job to pay the bills. And starting your own business with no guaranteed pay check can be scary, especially if you have a family to support. But you can’t let your fear keep you from trying. Instead, to combat fear, educate yourself. Hit the library a couple days a week and read as many businesses and start up books as you can to educate yourself about all the aspects of running your own business.
Promote residual income products. This is a good way to develop long-term profits because you get paid on a continual basis as long as the customer is involved with the product or program they have joined.
First off it is probably best to give my own biases, because we all have biases. I have been in home business opportunities before, I have seen them work, have seen success, and also have seen the detrimental sides of home based business opportunities. This has given me a more open view of why many don’t find what they are looking for in a home business business opportunity.
2) Create wealth for yourself, not your employer Your employer makes more money off you than what your employer pays you. That is called profit (your employer’s profit). If this does not describe your current work situation then either A). You work for a non-profit company, B). Your employer is about to fire you, or C). Your company is going out of business. In today’s economic condition many people are facing either an or B. Food for thought!!!
You have to be rational enough to assess your current situation, creative enough to see what is possible, and have the integrity to follow through with the plan. Remember, just because it’s on paper doesn’t mean it will happen – you have to decide to follow through and live up to your goals.
